This Saturday, August 24, the lifeless body of a person was found inside the Río de los Remedios, in the San Bartolo Tenayuca neighborhood, in the municipality of Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.

According to preliminary reports, it was the residents who notified the municipal authorities about the appearance of the body of a man of approximately 40 years old in the waters of the canal.

Upon receiving the alert, municipal and state police officers, as well as members of Civil Protection and Firefighters, arrived at the scene.

In response, authorities cordoned off the area awaiting the arrival of experts from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico, who will supervise the rescue.

After that, the firefighters descended with a boat to be able to remove the man’s body from the water, which with the help of ropes was later placed in a Forensic Services vehicle for the corresponding investigation.

According to initial reports, the man of unknown identity was wearing black pants, a black jacket and a blue backpack.

It is not yet known how the body ended up in the sewage waters of the Río de los Remedios, so the authorities have begun the relevant investigations to clarify the facts and determine the circumstances of the death.
