The Landmark Hotel Baku hosted a literary and musical evening “Light” with the participation of laureates of international competitions, pianist and composer Renara Akhundova, poetess Saida Subkhi and writer Anara Akhundova, dedicated to International Women’s Day – March 8, Day.Az reports with reference to Trend.
The audience was presented with musical improvisations and compositions, original poems and parables.
Saida Subhi recited her poems, Anara Akhundova recited her own parables, and virtuoso pianist Renara Akhundova (living and working in Paris for many years) performed improvisational works, creating music inspired by the presented literary works. At the end of the program, the composer performed several finished compositions. This is Renara Akhundova’s second tour to Baku – last year the pianist presented four musical projects in the city.
The literary and musical evening “Light” was a great success – with soul from the heart. The event attracted a large number of spectators – cultural and artistic figures, members of the public and guests of the capital.
