Bradley Barcola (22) was involved in all the goals as Paris Saint-Germain won 3-1 against Rennes in Ligue 1, ending the Rouges et Noir’s two-match unbeaten run in league matches at the Parc des Princes.
After the disappointing draw against Stade de Reims, the Parisians immediately got into the game, but Marquinhos was denied the first goal of the match for offside when the ball landed on the back of Lucas Beraldo.
Ousmane Dembele was a constant danger for the opponents, even if the winger was unable to find personal joy, his forays forward worried the Rossoneri defense and Steve Mandanda.

Although it is not a real déjà vu, it was close: the home team’s second goal was scored by a curling shot from Barcola just before the hour mark, although this time the ball bounced on the post and Lee headed it into the net.
After producing many brilliant plays, in the 68th minute Barcola finished in a simple way following a pass from Hakimi, before being replaced in a triple substitution by Luis Enrique to save energy for his key players.
A handball by Beraldo awarded a penalty which Kalimuendo coolly converted, which however did not affect the morale of the Parisians in the slightest, as they emerged victorious from the match.
In this way, PSG achieved their sixth victory in seven matches in all competitions and inflicted their fourth consecutive defeat in the league on Rennes: the last time that the Rouges et Noir prevailed dates back to February 2023.
