Waking up too late. Despite the victory in Brest (4-2) on the last day, the fate of the Girondins de Bordeaux is definitively sealed. The club chaired by Gérard Lopez is officially demoted to Ligue 2. This relegation sanctions a completely failed season in sporting terms. The blow is hard for a club which had never descended sportingly since 1960 (administrative relegation in 1991).
