This should convince new DAZN subscribers and save their wallets a little more. While the British platform presented a promotion this Tuesday, valid from September 10 to 22 for its subscription that gives access to Ligue 1, information from L’Équipe that we were able to confirm adds that this offer will be retired.

DAZN said that it listened to customers who subscribed with commitment in recent weeks to allow them to benefit from the reduction in the price of the annual subscription from €29.99 to €19.99 per month. Customers who subscribe to the no-obligation offer at €39.99 per month will naturally be able to cancel their subscription agreement and then access the advertising offer they want.

“We will launch a promotion around our offers, valid from September 10 to September 22. Regarding the monthly offer (without commitment) which costs 39.99 euros, the first two months will be 19.99. So 50% off in the first two months. And we will do a special promotion on the annual offer which is today 29.99 euros (per month), which will be 19.99 euros over 12 months,” Brice Daumin, CEO of DAZN France, explained to AFP this Monday.

Much criticized for its prices, the company across the channel seems to take a step towards the transparency of French football, which has turned into a lot of fraud since the beginning of the championship. At the end of a long series, DAZN acquired in early July the TV broadcast rights for eight L1 matches per day for an average of 400 million euros per year, with BeIN Sports broadcasting one match for 100 million euros.
