The homes of footballers are often targeted by thieves and the latter do not only target Paris Saint-Germain players. This week, two Stade de Reims players have not found their house in the state they left it before going to play a friendly match in Valenciennes.

This Wednesday, August 2, burglars, the number of which has not been determined, broke in between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the two athletes, who live together in Reims. When they returned from the North, they did not find seven watches from their collection, nor two bags from a luxury brand, nor even a telephone. The inventory of stolen goods is still in progress, but the loot would amount to approximately 350,000 euros.

According to the report of the Zonal Directorate of Judicial Police (DZPJ) East, a neighbor saw two intruders. They fled, but the witness chased them down the street before they got into a black vehicle to escape.

The season got off to a bad start for the two Kosovar players, who played with the Reims reserve team. Footballers are regularly under threat of such offences. This summer, the Parisian Gianluigi Donnarumma was notably the victim of a muscular burglary. The Italian goalkeeper and his wife were present at their home when the thugs landed. The couple had even been tied up at gunpoint.
