Likud survey: how many are satisfied with the government and how many support the legal reform

A new survey published by ‘Arutz 12’ checked and found that 45% of Likud voters in the last elections believe that Minister Itamar Ben Gabir, Minister Bezalel Smotrich and ministers from the ultra-orthodox parties have more influence than the Likud ministers. On the other hand, 41% believe that the Likud ministers have a greater influence on the other coalition partners. The survey also shows that 1 out of every four Likud voters is not satisfied with the conduct of the sixth Netanyahu government.

Another statistic that emerges from the survey, which was conducted only among Likud voters, is that Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, who was appointed to the position of minister in the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health, is unfit for the position. 53% of Likud voters answered that Deri is not fit to be minister, compared to 28% who believed that Deri is fit to serve as minister.

As for the legal reform, a significant majority of Likud voters support the reforms introduced by Justice Minister Yariv Levin. According to the survey, 55% of the voters are in favor of the reforms while about 17% oppose them. 28% answered that they did not know.

As for the question of how the reforms should be promoted, opinions are divided. 42% answered that legislation should be acted upon quickly in the Knesset and utilize the power of the majority, while 40% are interested in advancing the reforms by talking to the opposition and the justice system. 18% answered that they do not know.

The ‘Channel 12’ survey conducted by the Manu Geva ‘Sample’ Institute also shows that 67% of Likud voters indicated that they were satisfied with the conduct of the government so far, while 26% answered that they were not satisfied. Hoy says despite the large majority – 1 out of every four voters is not satisfied with the conduct of the government. A solid majority of Likud voters are not afraid of Israel’s democratic nature: 77% answered that there is no fear that Israel will cease to be democratic.
