Wednesday has already been marked by the evacuation of more than ten regional airports throughout France.

Again. French regional airports again carried out evacuations this Thursday after bomb threats. The platforms concerned are Bordeaux, Nantes, Lille and Montpellier. Flights have been diverted and significant delays are once again expected in French skies throughout the day. The police and bomb disposal services attended the scene.

«The doubt clearance operation carried out by State Services ended at 11:50 a.m., allowing employees and passengers to gradually return to the terminal. Traffic will be able to resume», indicated Nantes Atlantique airport. Same thing in Lille, where the airport was able to reopen “gradually» shortly before noon, after the alert was lifted. Two flights had to be diverted and delays are expected for passengers, warns the airport.

Wednesday has already been marked by the evacuation of fifteen airports across France. “These false alerts are not bad jokes. They are crimes. They will be punished», Reacted the Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune, on X (formerly Twitter). His counterpart at Justice, Éric Dupond-Moretti, for his part characterized “little puppets» the authors of these false alerts, indicating that they will be “found» et «punished».

These false bomb threats led to the cancellation of a total of 130 flights on Wednesday and numerous delays.
