It is proposed to allow persons with visual impairments of the first degree to engage in pedagogical activities.

According to Day.Az with reference to Trendthis is stated in the report of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022.

In order to ensure effective protection of the rights of persons with visual impairments of the first degree, including in order to prevent discrimination, it was proposed to exclude the diseases “binocular blindness” and “severe impairment of binocular vision” from the “List of diseases that do not allow them to engage in pedagogical activities”, approved by the resolution Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 18, 2019 No. 57.
