Lindsay’s suicide: a white march against harassment and “social media impunity”

In a cage, a dove, a symbol of peace. And white roses, hundreds of white roses, just like blue and white balloons squeezed in the hands of children and teenagers, family friends, residents or anonymous people who sometimes come from afar, from Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), or from neighboring Belgium. This Sunday, shortly before 10 a.m., hundreds of people – between 900 and 1,000 according to the police – dressed in white T-shirts bearing the image of the young Lindsay gathered in front of the gates of the Bracke-Desrousseaux college in Vendin- le-Vieil (Pas-de-Calais), the school where she was educated.
