The program is aimed at students who want a scholarship at a private university. In this edition, the MEC announced an increase in the number of vacancies for courses such as Law and Medicine.
When will the Prouni 2024 results come out?
The results of the selection process will be announced in two stages, with the first call this Tuesday and the second on the 27th of February. Students will compete for scholarships of 50% to 100% at private educational institutions.

Who can register for ProUni 2024?
To apply for the scholarship program, the candidate must meet certain criteria.
- Have participated in the 2022 or 2023 edition of Enem;
- Having obtained an average of 450 points or more in the five skills assessed in the exam and not having completed the essay to zero;
- Not having taken the test as a trainer (student who has not yet completed high school);
- Have completed high school in a public school; have attended part or all of high school with a full scholarship at private institutions; have studied part of high school in the public network and part in a private institution with a partial scholarship or without a scholarship; have completed secondary education entirely at a private institution as a partial scholarship holder from the respective institution or without the status of a scholarship holder;
- Gross monthly per capita family income that does not exceed the value of 1.5 minimum wages for full scholarships;
- Gross monthly per capita family income that does not exceed the value of 3 minimum wages for partial scholarship.
How to register for ProUni 2024?
Registration must be made on the Single Access Portal. The candidate must be registered with the federal government’s single login and have an account on gov.br. Those already registered access using the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF).
Unlike Sisu, in which only the student’s data is requested, ProUni requests information from the candidate’s entire family to calculate the per capita monthly income.
Up to two institution options must be selected, in order of the student’s preference. The location, course, study shift, type of scholarship (partial or full) and type of competition are also requested.
How ProUni 2024 cut-off scores work
Some courses may adopt different weights for each subject. For example, most universities give two or three weights to the writing grade in their courses overall. Normally, the subjects that have the most to do with your course will gain a different weight, such as Mathematics for those who want to study Engineering.
Other universities may establish a minimum average and a minimum grade in a subject for a candidate to win a place. A Medicine course, for example, may require that the minimum average is 400 points and that the candidate scores at least 500 in Natural Sciences.
The cut-off score is the lowest score necessary to be within the number of vacancies offered, that is, it is the score of the candidate who is occupying the last available vacancy. If the Pedagogy course offers 40 places and the candidate who occupies 40th place has 650 points, these 650 points are the cut-off score for that course offered by that university.
They help the candidate monitor their registration and develop strategies — whether it is worth keeping or changing courses. The cut-off scores are published daily, starting from the second day, and do not guarantee a place, they only provide a demonstration of how the competition for the course is going. It may happen that several candidates sign up for a course just because their cutoff score is low and it jumps from one day to the next.
