jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) is supervising the matching and research (Coklit) from June 24-July 24, 2024 to ensure that the process runs according to procedure and the voter data is accurate.
The monitoring method is carried out through inherent monitoring and spot testing.
Bawaslu member Lolly Suhenty said that Bawaslu is taking proactive steps through patrols to monitor voting rights targeting vulnerable voters, border areas, and voters in vulnerable areas.
In addition, Bawaslu has set up voting rights monitoring posts, both in offices, on social media, and on the Mobile Complaints Post to Monitor Voting Rights.
In an effort to mitigate vulnerabilities and prevent violations of Coklit procedures, Bawaslu has made early prevention efforts, both through appeals at the central, provincial, and district/city levels.
“A total of 2,083 appeals, socialization and education to voters, both through social media, face-to-face, pamphlets/leaflets, coordination and cooperation with the KPU and other election stakeholders, involvement of participatory supervision, publication, and direct suggestions for improvement,” explained Lolly as quoted, Sunday (28/7).
Based on the results of monitoring carried out until the end of Coklit on Wednesday (24/7), Lolly revealed that there were three clusters of Coklit problems.
