jpnn.com – SEMARANG – Central Java KPU Commissioner M. Machruz conveyed important information for state civil servants (ASN) who want to run in the 2024 Central Java Pilkada.
He said that ASN who will run in the 2024 Pilkada do not need to resign when registering as regional head candidates.
“When registering, ASN only need to inform their superiors about their candidacy plans,” said Machruz in Semarang, Friday (12/7).
Meanwhile, at the time of determining the regional election candidate participants, he continued, ASN who are running in the regional election must have attached a letter of resignation.
According to him, this has been regulated in PKPU Number 8/2024 concerning the nomination of regional heads.
As for regional head candidates who come from elected legislative candidates, they must also submit a letter of resignation.
“Elected legislative candidates who have been inaugurated before or after the candidate determination must resign,” he said.
According to him, until now there are only two regions whose regional election stages have included nominations from the individual route, namely in Sukoharjo and Tegal Regencies.
The General Election Commission (KPU) conveyed important information for ASN who wish to advance in the 2024 Central Java Pilkada.
