PJ Harvey, the renowned British musician and songwriter, is back with her highly anticipated album, “I Inside the Old Year Dying.” This album marks her first release since 2016’s critically acclaimed “The Hope Six Demolition Project.” Fans can listen to the project now.

Harvey recorded “I Inside the Old Year Dying” at London’s Battery Studio, collaborating once again with long-time partner John Parish and producer Flood. With this being her 10th studio album, Harvey drew inspiration from various musical influences including Jonny Greenwood, Mica Levi, Hildur Guðnadóttir, and Bob Dylan.

In a statement, Harvey shared her thoughts on the album’s theme, saying, “I think the album is about searching, looking – the intensity of first love, and seeking meaning. Not that there has to be a message, but the feeling I get from the record is one of love – it’s tinged with sadness and loss, but it’s loving. I think that’s what makes it feel so welcoming: so open.”

To support the release of “I Inside the Old Year Dying,” Harvey will embark on a series of tour dates in the UK and Europe. Fans can purchase tickets to her shows via her official website.

Prior to her return with new music, Harvey released a career-spanning box set titled “B-Sides, Demos & Rarities.” Additionally, she collaborated with Tim Phillips to score the 2022 Apple TV+ series “Bad Sisters.”
