União Sportiva remains active in strengthening its squad for next season and, this Tuesday, announced another signing. This time, the chosen one was the Lithuanian winger/post Ligita Tamutyte.
After Monique Pereira and Audrey Warren, the Azorean team announced its 3rd reinforcement for next season, in the case of yet another foreign player.
The Ligita Tamutyte Ligita, 1.77 meters tall, can play at winger and at the post and has spent the last five seasons playing for Klaipedos Neptunas, also from Lithuania, having trained at Suduva-Mantinga Marijampole.
Speaking to União Sportiva’s official platforms, the player said she was “very excited and honored to be part” of the club and “eager to be able to contribute to the success of next season.”
