Lithuanian Entrepreneur Aistė Miliūtė Crowned “Woman of the Year” for Pioneering Water Brand

Aistė Miliūtė, founder of the Lithuanian water brand “Akvilė” and a certified water sommelier, has been named “Woman of the Year” in Lithuania. The prestigious award, symbolized by a golden slipper sculpted by Marius Zavackis, was presented at a ceremony in the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, attended by over one hundred distinguished guests.

A Celebration of Leadership and Innovation

The annual award recognizes exceptional women who have made significant contributions to Lithuanian society.This year’s ceremony, led by event organizer Jogaila Morkūnas, featured performances by singer Eugenijus Chrebtovas and was attended by prominent figures including Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė, Gedvydas Vainauskas, chief editor of “Lietuvos rytas,” and Indrė Zigmantė, editor of “Stilius” magazine.

Miliūtė expressed her gratitude for the recognition, stating that she was honored her dedication and leadership had been acknowledged.”In my opinion, every woman can be ‘Woman of the Year,’ because we all do so much every day,” she remarked. “Women take care of homes, children, businesses, themselves, and others. I certainly don’t underestimate men, but today we are talking about women.”

Miliūtė’s journey to success began with studies in international business at the University of Aalborg in Denmark.
