The little athlete won 16 gold medals at the Johor Gold Cup Dancesport Championships which was held in Johor, Malaysia, Monday (30/12/2024)

Angelalida’s medal win was a record breaker for other Indonesian athletes. Because, previously a similar achievement was achieved by her senior, namely Michelle Nathania Raissa Wardana, who studied at Budi Utama Middle School, who won 12 gold medals in a similar dancesport championship in Singapore in January 2024.

Angelida, who is a dancesport athlete, represents Indonesia in this international competition.

In that competition, Angelida also won 3 trophies as overall champion as well as 16 gold and 2 silver medals. Because of his achievements, this nine year old student at SD Budi Utama Yogyakarta was also named Solo Overall Grand Champions in Malaysia.

No wonder, Angelaida’s achievement of becoming overall champion as well as Solo Overall Grand Champions Award at the 2024 Johor Gold Cup Dancesport Championship shocked all the athletes competing in the championship.
