Animated tapes from different eras such as Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book y Los Aristogatoshave something in common and that is that they all have a soundtrack based on the jazz genre.

It was from the musical works that characterize these productions for film and television that the Pavel Loaria Big Band Jazz created the Jazz Cartoons program that they will perform this Sunday at the Lunario of the National Auditorium.

“This is an incredible genre that we have all had access to since childhood without realizing it, and thanks to The Pink Panther, Don Gato and his Gang o Los Aristogatosbut here the wonderful thing is that on this occasion they will be performed by a band made up of children and young people who love music and, especially, playing it,” its founder, Pavel Loaria, said in an interview with this medium.

They will celebrate Children’s Day on the stage where this group was born, whose members are between six and 21 years old and have great musical and interpretive skills, such as

Camila, 13, and David, 16.

“Every time they perform, people are amazed by the talent even though this is a training group, because I am teaching them, but the truth is that they sound like professionals, thanks to their musical background,” added the musician.

He clarified that all this would not be possible without the support and presence of the parents, who help with everything that has to do with respect and discipline.

THE YOUNG MUSICAL PROMISES

And as Pavel said, the boys who join this very peculiar jazz band come to its ranks with musical knowledge and in the course of their stay in it they achieve a level that exceeds expectations, so much so that it gives them one more possibility of join higher level groups.

“In my family, there are musicians, most of them play the guitar and piano, so that’s why I started playing the violin. And then, I came across the Big Band on Facebook and it caught my attention, so my mom and I researched everything and I entered a summer course and from there I fell in love with it.

“At no time did I imagine that I would become an important part of the group, especially because I didn’t even play the guitar, everything happened very suddenly and I feel very happy with that,” said Camilia.

Diego arrived because he was looking for bands that caught his attention.

“I remember that the first time, I was impressed to see children of the same age or a little older playing an instrument perfectly; I really liked the drums and now one of the instruments that I play is the bass and I enjoy it very much,” Diego added.

Something that these two promising musicians agreed on, because Camila also has a privileged voice, is that they both felt stage fright in their debut on stage; Both had a slight failure, which was not perceived by anyone present, but by themselves.

That is now in the past and the only thing left is to confirm the professionalism of the Pavel Loaria Big Band Jazz this Sunday at 1:00 p.m., during the presentation of Jazz Cartoons at the Lunario of the National Auditorium.
