Follow the live morning conference of the president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) since National Palace.

At the start of his press conference on Friday, President López Obrador announced that this weekend he will have a working tour in Colima, Michoacán, Jalisco and Nuevo León.
The president said that it is likely that he will travel with the president-elect on this tour “because there are several states and several evaluation meetings. We have already finished the visit to the 34 entities of the country with these four states and before receiving her certificate as president-elect, she had to go on commercial flights and by road and I accompanied her on some stretches.”
The president ruled out any risk of him traveling with the president-elect because in the country “there is an atmosphere of peace and tranquility with our guardian angel; our people are very good, there is nothing to fear.”
He said there will be no more tours with Claudia Sheinbaum, but there will be the opening of between ten and 15 works until the end of September.
President López Obrador stated that given the contradictions that have arisen in the investigation into the murder of elected deputy Héctor Melesio Cuén, it is a success that the FGR has taken on the investigation file.
