An ammunition depot was hit during a Ukrainian drone strike in Crimea, reported the governor installed by Moscow in the peninsula annexed by Moscow, target in recent days of recurring attacks.
“In the skies above Crimea, 11 enemy drones were shot down by air defense forces and neutralized,” Sergei Aksionov said on Telegram, adding that an “ammunition depot” was hit in Djankoy district in northern Crimea and debris from a drone damaged a house.
“Decision was taken to evacuate the population within a radius of 5 kilometers” around the scene of the incident, he added, saying that there were no victims “according to preliminary data”.
