More than 400 students from various educational institutions in Santa Marta participated in this educational day, which addressed basic issues for the comprehensive development of youth.

The University of Magdalena continues to confirm its commitment to the overall development of young people in the region after the development in its materials of the Ninth Day of Child Care: ‘Life with values, its success’, an event that is part of Region XII Pediatric Symposium, organized by the Pediatric Society – Magdalena Chapter.

The day, which brings together students from previous levels and high school students from related areas, is a place for reflection and awareness about the importance of child care, a discipline based on care and raising children from birth to youth.

“We are looking to provide an educational environment with relevant topics for young people in their process of making a life project. We talk about success, discipline, the value of family, and how these aspects of integrated into the lives of young people”, explains Liliam. Mónica Núñez González, who is a school counselor at IED INEM Simón Bolívar, explained the importance of this day to eleventh grade students: “It is an important time in their lives, where they learn their life’s work.
