FIRST DANIEL HOLGADO !!! The Moto3 leader started the race with a very aggressive approach, aware that many of his big rivals were late on the starting grid today and, furthermore, they will have to take a long lap penalty.

Daniel Holgado has gained a position and is already in second place after beating Ayumu Sasaki.

Clean output !!! No incidents so far and Deniz Öncü confirms his first pole position…

Problems for Romano Fenati just before starting !!! The motorcycle has stopped.

Ayumu Sasaki and Daniel Holgado, as we mentioned, accompany Deniz Öncü on the front row of the starting grid. The Japanese could was second in the last French Grand Prix and made his debut in the drawer this season after a start to the year that has not been very fruitful for him.

Today Deniz Öncü starts from pole position. This is the second of the season and the sixth in the career of the Turkish pilot, who would be in a position to seek his first victory in the race.

Daniel Holgado starts the race from third position on the starting grid, while Iván Ortolá does so from 25th due to a penalty. Diogo Moreira starts in 22nd and Jaume Masia was one of the best unemployed in yesterday’s chaotic qualifying session and starts from 6th place.

This victory and the abandonment of Diogo Moreira allowed the driver from Sant Vicent del Raspeig to get some oxygen, although the pressure is enormous in a tremendously even category.

We are already focusing on everything that can happen in a few minutes in the Moto3 race. As we said, Daniel Holgado won the French Grand Prix three weeks ago, getting his second victory of the season.

We review the start time of today’s races. The action begins at 11:00 am with the dispute of the Moto3 test. At 12:20 p.m. the Moto2 race starts, while the traffic light will turn green to announce the start of the MotoGP race at 2:00 p.m.

In Moto3, Daniel Holgado reaffirmed his status as leader with his victory in the last race and the rider from San Vicent del Raspeig faces this test with a difference of 21 points over Iván Ortolá and Jaume Masiá.

This in regards to MotoGP. In Moto2, a tremendously solid Tony Arbolino dominates the classification at the start of the year. The Italian driver has achieved two victories and has finished on the podium in four of his five races so far. He has 99 points, 25 more than Pedro Acosta and 38 compared to Alonso López.

Accompanying Bagnaia on the front line are the Márquez brothers. Marc starts from the second position while Alex does it in the third. We will have to see if Marc Márquez is in a position to get his first podium of the course, although apparently yesterday, the Honda rider will have a really difficult time on ‘Ducati terrain’.

Francesco Bagnaia himself starts today from pole position. The Torino rider has been the only one capable of getting three pole positions this season and he already has 14 so far in MotoGP, surpassing Maverick Viñales (13). Only Fabio Quartararo (16) and Marc Márquez (64) have achieved more among the current drivers.

Francesco Bagnaia starts as the leader of the MotoGP standings before the start of today’s race with 106 points, four over Marco Bezzechi and 19 over Jorge Martín.

However, ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia is not being particularly fine on Sundays and the Ducati rider has not scored points in three of the five races held in 2023 (16th in the Argentine GP and two DNFs), only two less than in the entire season last (five DNFs in 20 races).

Francesco Bagnaia himself won the Sprint yesterday. The pilot has already added three of the six sprints held this season and if he wins today, he would be in a position to deliver a tremendous blow of authority in his goal of revalidating the title in the highest category.

Italian riders have won in three of the last five editions of the MotoGP Italian Grand Prix (Andrea Dovizioso in 2017, Danilo Petrucci in 2019 and Francesco Bagnaia in 2022). This, after not having won any of the previous eight.

Not surprisingly, Ducati has won in four of the last five editions of the Italian Grand Prix and all of them with different riders (Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo, Danilo Petrucci and Francesco Bagnaia).

This Italian Grand Prix has been the exclusive preserve of Ducati in recent editions and, as seen throughout the weekend and especially yesterday in the Sprint, a lot would have to change so that the transalpine brand does not add another victory in their territory.

Good morning !! Welcome to the broadcast of the Italian motorcycle Grand Prix from the Mugello Autodromo, the sixth round of the 2023 season. Are you ready? We start…
