jpnn.com – BANTUL – Barito Putera will host Persija Jakarta in the match week 18 of BRI Liga 1 2024/25 at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul, Friday (10/1).

“We will face Persija in the first match of the second round with the addition and replacement of several players in the squad. Preparations are going well, and I hope all the players are ready and no players are injured for the match,” said Coach Barito Putera Rahmad Darmawan.
Barito Putera brought in three experienced foreign players who had previously played in Indonesia, namely Anderson Nascimento, Matias Mier and Renan Alves.
Coach RD realizes that Persija is a consistent team and is at the top of the standings by showing game stability that has been maintained since last season.
“Indeed, Persija was the first to not change their skin off play. They were consistent. They played with four defenders in the President’s Cup, now they are back with three center backs,” he said.
