RUSSIA CLAIMS TO PUSH ‘UKRAINIAN TERRORISTS’

The Russian army said on Sunday that it repelled with artillery a group of “Ukrainian terrorists” who tried to enter the border region of Belgorod, targeted by intense Ukrainian bombardment this week.

An airfield was hit by a Russian strike near the town of Kropyvnytskyi in central Ukraine, the Ukrainian Air Force said.

“Six missiles and five attack drones” were launched by Russian forces, Ukrainian air force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said on television. “Of the six (missiles), four were destroyed by air defense and two hit the airfield near Kropyvnytskyi,” he added.
