Inadequate stock of vaccine and nutrient powders in veterinary hospitals leads to delay in vaccination of calves.
Due to this, the milk yield is reduced and the income is greatly affected and the farmers are forced to default on the loan.
Therefore, social activist and head of Tiruvarur District Consumer Protection Center Vakil Nagarajan and cattle rearing farmers have demanded that steps should be taken to speed up the livestock vaccination program immediately.
