Living heritage will be the focus of the VIII European Heritage Days that the Provincial Department of Culture will organize in October, for which it invites citizens “to submit proposals to organize events linked to the conservation, transmission and enhancement of heritage” . The deputy for Culture, María José Telleria, stressed yesterday that the conference “serves to vindicate the value of celebrating culture as a framework for coexistence.”

The Conferences invite this year to explore the many ways in which heritage is kept alive: crafts, conservation techniques and, above all, thanks to transmission. Thus, activities such as gymkhanas, visits to places that are normally inaccessible, guided tours, gatherings, concerts, exhibitions and workshops, among others, will have a place in the program.
