However, there are some bowlers who have done the feat of taking a hat-trick by taking three wickets on two balls. However, this has never happened in international cricket. Apart from India’s Praveen Tambe, Sri Lanka’s Isuru Udana’s name is included in this.

The highest bid was placed on Udana

Currently, bidding for players is going on in Legends League Cricket. Only players who have retired from international cricket play in this league. Sri Lanka’s Isuru Udana has received the highest bid in the LLC. Left-arm fast bowler Udana was bought by Urbanisers Hyderabad for Rs 62 lakh. However, the names of players like Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik are yet to come in the auction.

Udana did wonders in 2010

Sri Lanka’s Isuru Udana did the feat of taking a hat-trick of wickets in two balls in 2010. He was also the first bowler to do so. In the Champions League being played in South Africa, Central Districts were competing against Wayamba. In that match, Udana first dismissed Brad Pitton. The next ball was wide and Matthew Sinclair was stumped on it. In this way, Udana took two wickets on one legal ball. George Walker was bowled on the next ball. In this way, Udana completed his hat-trick and created history.

Udana’s international career

36-year-old Isuru Udana made his debut for Sri Lanka in 2009. In 2021, he got a chance to play his last match. In 12 years, he got a chance to play 21 ODIs and 35 T20s. In this, Udana had a total of 45 wickets. He also contributed 493 runs with the bat. His highest innings in T20 International was of 84 runs. On 31 July 2021, he announced his retirement from international cricket.
