The first loan submitted by the Executive Branch is with the French Development Agency (AFD) for EUR$190,132,142, equivalent to US$200 million, for what would be the Metro extension from Santo Domingo.

Likewise, the members of the Upper House approved another loan with the Inter-American Development Bank (BID) for US$44.2 billion for the execution of the comprehensive and sustainable solid waste management program in Greater Santo Domingo.
