Local Government Advisers donate to Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund

Advisor to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives. F Hasan Arif has donated around Tk 3.5 crore to the Chief Adviser’s relief fund to help those affected by the ongoing floods in the country.

Local Government Advisers donate to Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund

On Tuesday (September 3), the local government adviser handed over a check of Tk 3 crore 45 lakh 40 thousand 425 to the chief adviser.

On August 25, it was decided to pay one day’s salary to the Chief Adviser’s relief and welfare fund of the local government department of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and all departments/organizations/and employees under the purview of the Rural Development and Cooperatives Department. In that continuation, the local government engineering department and public health engineering department under the jurisdiction of all departments, city corporation, zilla parishad, upazila parishad, municipality, union parishad working officials/employees equivalent amount of 2 crore 2 crore 8 thousand 398 taka and rural development and A total of 3 crore 5 lakh 425 taka has been paid from the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives along with one day’s equivalent amount of taka 85 lakh 32 thousand 27 for all the officers/employees working in all the institutions under the cooperative department.

CP Bangladesh Company Limited donated Tk 40 lakh to the Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund to provide financial assistance to the affected districts of the country. On September 1, a delegation led by Chairman of CP Bangladesh Company Limited, Suchat Suntipada, Local Government Advisor A. F. Hasan handed over a check of Tk 40 lakh to Arif. Local Government Advisor A. handed over a check containing 3 crore five lakh four hundred and twenty five taka received from the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and 40 lakh taka received from CP Bangladesh Company Limited to the Chief Advisor’s Relief and Welfare Fund.
