To raise awareness of the new health emergencies caused by the pandemic and to encourage all interventions in favor of the most fragile children. This is the goal of the cycle of webinars organized by the Francesca Rava NPH Italia Onlus Foundation as part of the national initiative In Pharmacy for Children, dedicated to the theme of the health of minors during the Coronavirus epidemic. The cycle of webinars, sponsored by Federfarma and FOFI, was opened in June with a highly topical topic: the mental health of adolescents, put to the test by the social isolation imposed by the virus and by distance learning (DAD), which have unleashed psychological discomforts and new frailties. anxiety and uncertainty also linked to the fear of parental illness, have created a real escalation of psychological, psychiatric and new frailties.
The reflection continues by broadening the field to the care of minors in the developmental age, through a specific focus on the role of local medicine and pharmacists, figures who during the pandemic have shown their importance as a point of reference for all ages. The meeting Timeliness in the care of minors in the developmental age: the role of local medicine and pharmacists will be held within COSMOFARMA on Friday 10 September (from 10.00 to 11.00) in presence and in streaming and accredited as an ECM course for Pharmacists.

The Francesca Rava Foundation represents in Italy NPH – Nuestros Pequeos Hermanos (Our little brothers and sisters), which since 1954 has been looking after orphaned and abandoned children with its houses, schools and hospitals in nine Latin American countries.
