Telchinida returned to her throne! The Telchinida women’s division won 3-1 sets against Rodion Athlisis and returned to the top of the Dodecanese, winning the 10th championship in its history. The team of Nikos Tsidominas beat Rodion Athlisis in the final and took the trophy with a total of 3-0 victories. This success acquires greater value if one considers that Telchinida won the trophy undefeated, winning all 14 games they played throughout the year. Nikos Tsintominas’ girls showed character when Rodion Athlisis went from 2-1 down to 1 set and turned it up in the 4th set, taking the win and the trophy along with it. Telkhinida confirmed the predictions that wanted her as the favorite and will now aim to go further, claiming her promotion to the national categories.

The 3rd set:
In the 3rd set, Nikos Makris’ team was better and lost. After the draws (4-4, 6-6 and 9-9), Rodion Athlisis imposed its rhythm, the Telchinida players made many effortless mistakes and the scores became 11-14 and 12-17. The water had entered the groove (13-20), with Telchinida making one last attempt (16-20 and 18-22), but the visitors had a better presence, taking the set 20-25 and reducing it to 2-1 .
The 4th set:
The start was very balanced, with Telchinida leading 5-3 and 9-8, but Rodion Athlisis… passing with a good serve (9-11).
