Beijing: Lockdown has again been imposed in many places in China due to Covid. Some areas of Wuhan, where the corona virus infection was first confirmed, are also under lockdown. The lockdown was announced in a district of Wuhan with a population of around 8 lakh. Here the restriction is till October 30.

Chenjo, home to the largest iPhone manufacturing plant, is also under control. For the third day in a row, more than a thousand people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in China. Chinese President Xi Jingping had earlier said that there will be no compromise on the zero covid policy.

He said that people are fighting against Covid. On October 24, China announced restrictions in 28 cities. Ratings agency Nomura estimated that China’s Covid restrictions have affected 207 million people. The rating agency had stated that there was a heavy loss in the GDP due to the restrictions.
