Canberra: Australia with a new decision regarding Kovid vaccination. The Australian government has imposed a lockdown on those who have not fully received the Kovid vaccination since last Sunday night as part of efforts to prevent the Kovid virus infection and deaths. Out of a population of 8.9 million, about two million are still unvaccinated.

People over the age of 12 who have not been vaccinated are prohibited from leaving the home for work, food purchases, or vaccination. This does not apply to people under the age of twelve. The government has imposed the ban amid mounting Kovid outbreaks and continuing deaths. Chancellor Alexander Scholenberg said it was the government’s duty to protect the people and therefore a lockdown would be imposed on those who did not receive the vaccine from Monday.

The lockdown will initially run for ten days. Scholenberg added that police would check whether those leaving were vaccinated and would hire more officers only for testing. Those violating the law will be fined around Rs 1.5 lakh. Australia has the lowest vaccination coverage in Western Europe. Australia has the highest infection rate in Europe.

The chancellor said the infection rate was lower among those who received the vaccine than those who did not receive the vaccine, and that those who received the vaccine should also receive the booster dose. According to the latest figures from Weldometer, the number of confirmed cases in the country is 9,59,652 and the total death toll is 11,706.
