Logistiker Company Wins Tender for Natgaz Logistics Services – Maman Group Leader in Outsourced Solutions

The Logistiker company, from the Maman Group, the leader in outsourced logistics solutions, won a tender for the provision of logistics services for the Israel Gas Routes Company (Natgaz), which include support for the national project of connecting the State of Israel to the natural gas pipeline.

The Natural Gas Routes to Israel Ltd. is a government company established in 2003 for the purpose of building and operating a high pressure natural gas transmission system in Israel. The company operates in the field of operating the natural gas transmission system from the supplier to consumers in Israel, and holds an exclusive franchise to engage in the field until 2034.

The Logistiker company has provided logistics services to the Gas Routes Company to Israel during the past 18 years. Now, with the end of the contract period, the government company launched a new tender, which received a lot of interest among all the logistics companies in Israel, and at the end, as mentioned, the offer of the Logisticar company was chosen.

The tender was signed for a period of two years with an option for 2 additional periods of two years (6 years in total) and it will generate activity for the logistician to the extent of NIS 4 million.

The range of logistics services that Logistiker will provide to the Israel Gas Routes Company includes: full end-to-end responsibility for the stock of pipes and spare parts, unloading the pipes from the ships upon their arrival in Israel, loading them onto trucks and transporting them to the storage facilities, coordinating and operating the subcontractors and supporting the company’s procurement system.

According to Zeev Mansour, CEO of Logistiker: “We thank the management of the Israel Gas Routes Company for choosing Logistiker again.” There is no doubt that the continuation of the joint activity between the companies will greatly contribute to the national project of the national natural gas transmission system in Israel.”

We note that during the first nine months of 2023, the Maman Group’s logistics services sector recorded a 5.7% increase in revenue to a total of NIS 498 thousand compared to NIS 471 million in 2022. The increase was due to the opening of the new logistics centers, the reception of new customers and an increase in the logistics activity with customers. The company’s operating profit reached NIS 59 million compared to an operating profit of about NIS 42 million last year – an increase of 39.6%.
