by time news

On the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack in New Delhi, a tense situation unfolded as two youths jumped into the Lok Sabha from the observation deck with smoke canisters. The incident took place during a session in the Lok Sabha, where the two individuals climbed on the table of the MPs and then ran towards the Speaker’s seat, chanting ‘Down with anarchy’. This led to a chaotic situation, with security guards and MPs chasing them away.

In support of the two individuals, two others raised slogans against the government outside the parliament building and also released colored smoke canisters, creating a tense atmosphere. The Delhi Special Police later arrested the four individuals and seized their belongings for further investigation.

Following the incident, Lok Sabha was adjourned and officials, including Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, conducted an inspection at the National Assembly.

The two individuals involved in the incident have been identified as Sagar Sharma from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and Mano Ranjan, an engineering graduate, from Mysore. Additionally, two others, including Neelam and Amol Shinde, were also arrested and are being investigated in connection with the incident.

Furthermore, two individuals, including Lalit Jha from Gurgaon near Delhi, have been found to be involved in the conspiracy and are currently in hiding. It has also been revealed that five other individuals involved in the conspiracy were staying at Lalit Jha’s house.

Amidst the unfolding events, opposition MPs have blamed the incident on a lack of security, while Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has assured a detailed investigation into the matter.

In a surprising development, it was revealed that the two youths had obtained entry passes on the recommendation of BJP MP Pratap Simka from Mysuru to visit the audience floor of the Lok Sabha. The MPs entered after passing through five phases of security checks and scrutiny. As a young graduate from his constituency, Pratap Simka had recommended a pass for the individuals to visit Parliament.

The dramatic turn of events, coinciding with the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack, has sparked widespread concern and calls for a thorough investigation into the breach of security at the parliament complex.
