Patna: These days there is a flurry of resignations in Rashtriya Janata Dal. Leaders are becoming disillusioned with the party. They are seen shaking hands with RJD and supporting other parties. These include many new leaders and many old ones too. Some leaders left the party due to not getting tickets, while some no longer see their future in RJD. It is natural to raise questions due to the resignations from RJD in recent times. It is a different matter that Tejashwi Yadav or the party leaders are not saying anything on these resignations. But, there is talk of some disturbance inside. In recent times, many leaders like Vrushan Patel, Bulo Mandal, Karuna Sagar, Rama Singh, Devendra Yadav, Ganesh Prasad have left the company, while Shahabuddin’s wife Hina Shahab seems angry.

Everything doesn’t feel right inside

Tejashwi Yadav is continuously holding rallies during the Lok Sabha elections 2024. He is very busy. His entire family is engaged in the election campaign. His two sisters Rohini Acharya and Misa Bharti are in the electoral fray. Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav are asking for votes for him. It is a different matter that Tejashwi Yadav is claiming to win 40 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. They are talking about the strength of the Grand Alliance. But inside everything is not feeling well.

Former DGP Karuna Sagar also left the party

Just two days ago, former DGP of Tamil Nadu and Indian Police Service officer Karuna Sagar left the membership of Rashtriya Janata Dal. There was a lot of publicity about Karuna Sagar joining RJD. Posters of Karuna Sagar joining RJD were put up in Patna. He was not seen with Tejashwi Yadav for some time. In one stroke, he left Lalu Yadav’s party RJD and joined the Grand Alliance’s ally Congress. Karuna Sagar was the spokesperson in RJD. His sudden joining of Congress raises many questions. Karuna Sagar, resident of Jehanabad, comes from Bhumihar caste. His intention was to contest elections from Jehanabad. When his wish was not fulfilled, he now distanced himself from RJD. However, there has been no reaction from RJD yet on Karuna Saran joining Congress.

Lalu’s old friend Vrushin Patel also said bye

Vrushin Patel, who was counted among the old leaders of RJD, also broke ties. While separating from RJD, he said with great emotion that democracy is no longer left in RJD. A broad meaning is being drawn from his statement. It is believed that RJD has become only a family party. It is being discussed that many old leaders working within the party for a long time have dedicated their lives to RJD. But the top leadership of RJD is not ready to look beyond the family and look towards the old workers and leaders.

Rama Singh leaves RJD, will separate his wife also

Rama Singh’s name is important among many RJD leaders who have separated and changed sides during the last one month. Rama Singh distanced himself from party membership and all posts three days ago. Now he has become a part of Chirag Paswan’s party. Even while leaving the party, Rama Singh had made serious allegations against RJD. Not only this, he has talked about his wife Veena Singh leaving the party. Veena Singh is RJD MLA from Mahnar. Rama Singh wanted to contest elections from Shivhar or Vaishali. But, he was not given the ticket. The result of which is that Rama Singh separated himself from the party. However, while leaving the party, he definitely said that democracy in the party has ended. The party has deviated from its principles.

Former MP Bulo Mandal also gave a shock to Lalu

Former RJD MP Shailendra Kumar alias Bulo Mandal has also given a big blow to RJD. Bulo Mandal, who was MP from Bhagalpur, has now taken membership of JDU. Bulo Mandal, who defeated BJP’s Shahnawaz Hussain from Bhagalpur by contesting elections from Lalu’s party, has now distanced himself from RJD. It is believed that Bulo Mandal wanted to contest elections from Bhagalpur Lok Sabha seat. But in seat sharing this seat went to Congress’s account. Due to which Bulo Mandal was angry with RJD. After Bulo Mandal joining JDU, it is being estimated that Ajay Mandal’s position in Bhagalpur has become stronger.

Former minister Devendra Yadav also resigned

Here, Devendra Prasad Yadav is also an important name among those who left the party within 15 days. He also relieved himself from party membership and all posts on 17 April. This is no less than a shock for RJD. Devendra Prasad Yadav has been a former Union Minister of RJD. Devendra Yadav sent his resignation to the national president of the party. He said that the party has deviated from its principles. Devendra Yadav said that the party is following the ‘policy’ of ‘rule’. Whereas, it is necessary to establish harmony between both ‘Raj’ and ‘Policy’. Devendra Yadav expressed his displeasure over giving tickets to imported leaders. Devendra Yadav also wanted ticket from RJD.

RJD’s star campaigner also left the party

Within three days, three party leaders have resigned from RJD. RJD state vice president and former legislative councilor Ganesh Bharti also said goodbye to the party late on Tuesday night. This information became public on Wednesday. Ganesh Bharti comes from Noniya community and was also made its star campaigner by RJD. Despite being a star campaigner, he resigned from all the party posts. Regarding which discussions have started now.

Tejashwi wants to run RJD as per his wish

It is believed that although formally the command of RJD is in the hands of Lalu Prasad Yadav, but undeclaredly Lalu has handed over the responsibility of all the decisions to Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav now wants to run RJD in his own way. The result of which is that the old leaders of the party, who spent a long time with the party and devoted their lives, now do not see their future in the party. As most of the leaders who left the party accused him of neglect.

Is there any conflict between the new and the old in the party?

If the statements of the leaders who left the party are considered true, then it can be said that Tejashwi Yadav is doing new experiments. In which he is seen trusting new people. Therefore, apart from the old and powerful leaders of RJD, the leaders and spokespersons who have recently joined the party are also considering it better to make some other party their base. In such a situation, the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav is also under question. Sidelining of leaders like Rama Singh, Vrushin Patel, Bulo Mandal raises questions in itself. At the same time, Hina Shahab has kept distance from RJD since the time of Bihar Lok Sabha elections. Hina Shahab has contested elections twice on RJD ticket. But he did not get any success. Now he is in the independent field.
