London: Public buildings sprayed with graffiti by environmental activists

by time news

Activists of the Just Stop Oil organization sprayed graffiti on the Ministry of the Interior, the MI5 building, the Bank of England and the headquarters of News Corp in London. The buildings were chosen to represent the pillars that support and preserve the power of the fossil fuel economy – governance, security, finance and communications.

Climate protestors threw tomato soup on Van Gogh’s famous painting watch

A Just Stop Oil spokesman said after the incident: “We are not prepared to stand by and watch as everything we love is destroyed, while people are vulnerable, hungry, and fossil fuel companies and the wealthy profit from our misery. The fossil fuel era should be long gone, but fossil fuel vested interests continue To corrupt our politics, government and media, as they have done for decades.”

He even warned: “This is not a one-day event, expect us every day and everywhere.”
