Elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of CDMX assured long and short weapons in a building belonging to the mayor’s office Iztapalapa; the operation left a arrested.
The above was reported by the head of the SSC, Pablo Vázquez Camacho, who said that with this operation high-impact crime is being combated in the municipality.

“After executing a search warrant at a home in @Alc_Iztapalapaclassmates from @SSC_CDMX They arrested a man and seized four short firearms and one long firearm.
“With the inter-institutional operation implemented this week in this municipality, we combat high-impact crimes and carry out investigative work to arrest those who generate violence,” X wrote on his social network.
How was the arrest?
According to the investigations, a property located on José María Olmos Street, in the Ejército de Oriente neighborhood, was used for the storage and sale of firearms.
After carrying out surveillance tours and collecting evidence, the Public Prosecutor’s Office requested a search warrant for the house from a Control Judge. The judge gave the green light for the search.
SSC personnel deployed the operation in the house, seizing four short firearms of different calibers and a long firearm, which was in a black case. A 26-year-old man was also arrested at the scene.
The property was sealed and placed under police guard, while the detainee and the seized items were placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office agent.
