Long format report: images of Paralympic athletes

As the Paralympic games officially begin on Wednesday, August 28, Joy Health offers you an immersive experience with four athletes, from Cameroon, Senegal and France.

• Guilleine Chemogne etc Marie-Antoinette Dassiboth with upper limb disabilities, practice para taekwondo, a martial art of South Korean origin. They are the first Cameroonian athletes to be invited to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
• Adou Hervé AnoAn Ivorian para athlete, born with an abnormality of the lower limbs, competes in para powerlifting, a discipline that involves lifting and holding a bar much heavier than his body.
• Badr Touziwho injured his left leg in a car accident, will defend the French colors in para sports, during the shot event.

How did the sport allow the four athletes to recover from each other? What is their health care? How do they live with their disability, and how can they play sports at a high level when we don’t have the means or special prostheses?
