Two Gold Medals in Fight and Style at Kung Fu National Championship held in Surat, Gujarat. Apart from these, only a few months ago, he won a gold medal in the Penchak Silat National Championship, an Indonesian martial art. Not only in martial arts but also in District Roller Skating Championship, Hot Wheels Roller Skating Club Nagampadam won one gold and two silver. And so goes the list of Srihari’s achievements.
Sreehari is a 5th class student of Kottayam MD Seminary School and is the son of Vijay S and Arya Raj, who resides in Paraikkalthazhe, Iravinallur, Kottayam. Srihari was a disciple since childhood. Srihari, who trained on his own during the Covid lockdown, started walking. His father Vijay watched him closely even as his mother scolded him for these exercises. It was his father who first discovered his talents. Vijay realized that his son has the same qualities that he had when he was young and then wondered where to introduce him. A video of his practice was taken and sent to many people. Everyone gave good comments but nothing was said about how to train Srihari.
That’s how Srihari met Sudheesh Master, a kumfu teacher, at NSMCM MSLP School, his first school. Later on Srihari’s inner abilities started to emerge. Under the tutelage of Sudheesh Master, he went on to achieve success.. Srihari’s first martial arts training center was Master’s Kungfu Center in Chingavan.
Srihari was allowed to skate for the first time at the age of two. The exercises which were limited to two kilometers in the beginning now extend for several kilometers. Parents are also there with full support for all the artistic endeavors of their son. Srihari’s biggest wish is to represent India in the Olympics.
