Long live Rai2, the countdown for Fiorello’s return begins

The countdown for Fiorello’s return on the morning of the second Rai network with ‘Viva Rai2’ has begun. But it will probably last a few more weeks. It was Rosario Fiorello himself who raised the hopes of the many fans of the showman and his dawn ‘road show’, a true phenomenon of last TV season, starting to publish posts on Instagram in the last few mornings with singing videos of the most elder of his collaborators, the lovable Ruggero, accompanied by the writing “coming soon on Rai2”.

A week ago the promo also started on the Rai networks, announcing the return “soon on Rai2” showing what should be the new location among the trees in the Farnesina area. But, contrary to some hypotheses circulated about a return of the program as early as September, considered truly unlikely, the approach – according to time.news – will not be short. In fact, before the start of live TV broadcasts, Fiorello and his team are working not only on the programme, but also on the many issues relating to the new location of the Foro Italico, including permits and security measures. The airing of the program, last season, was in fact characterized by the constant presence of a large number of fans of Fiorello and his many guests who thronged near the transparent studio (Glass) in via Asiago. Precisely the massive presence of the public and the rehearsals of the ballets and musical performances which started shortly after 5 in the morning, had caused the protests of some inhabitants of via Asiago, leading Fiorello to choose a new location, not surprisingly distant from population centres. Now the choice of the Foro Italico puts the program team, already at work, facing new challenges, such as, for example, securing the Glass and other permanent structures of the show also with respect to the major sporting events taking place at the Stadio Olimpico and which are unfortunately sometimes accompanied by acts of vandalism by fans.

Last year the program began to warm up its engines in November on social networks and then made its debut in early December on Rai2. Looking back at Fiorello’s TV successes, they often saw the light of day in November. And those who know him well are convinced that the beginning of November this year too could be the right time to return live on Rai2. But with Rosario the conditional is a must and the surprise on the agenda.
