Longtime Vatican Secretary of State Sodano died

VATICAN CITY – Former Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Angelo Sodano died in a Roman hospital on Friday evening at the age of 94, Italian media reported on Saturday. Secretary of State in the service of two Popes – John Paul II (1978-2005) and Benedict XVI. (2005-2013) – was Dean Emeritus of the College of Cardinals and had been ill for a long time.
