It appears that the singer Neta Barzilai, winner of Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon, will appear in the artistic part of the upcoming Eurovision final in Liverpool. Barzilai is expected to participate in the string alongside past participants in the competition.

In the production of the show, the names of Mahmoud, Italy’s representative for the competition in 2019 and 2022, and Cornelia Jacobs, who represented Sweden in the competition held last year in Turin, were mentioned. The official announcement on the matter is expected to be made next week by the European Broadcasting Union.

The manager of Neta Barzilai said in response: “We are happy about the interest in Neta. When there is something to update – we will update.”

As a reminder, Barzilai, who won the competition held in Lisbon five years ago with the song Toy, was a guest at the Eurovision Song Contest held in 2019 in Tel Aviv. She opened the first semi-final broadcast with a performance of the song Toy and at the final event she performed the single Nana Banana. Barzilai was also a guest on the 2020 alternative Eurovision broadcaster, which was canceled due to the Corona epidemic. There she performed an acoustic version of the song Cuckoo.

Yesterday, the British Broadcasting Union revealed the artists who will be hosted by the two broadcasters of the semi-finals. Because the British singer Rita Ora is expected to appear in the first semi-final. Apart from her, the Ukrainian singer Alyosha, who represented her country at Eurovision 2010, and the British singer Rebecca Ferguson, born in Liverpool, will be guests on the broadcaster. The broadcaster will be opened by the host of the competition, the Ukrainian singer Yulia Sanina.

The Ukrainian singer Maria Yarmchuk, who represented her country in 2014, will appear on the broadcaster of the second semi-final. Yarmchuk will perform alongside Ukrainian rapper OTOY and girl Zlata Dzionka, who will represent Ukraine at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
