Lorena Cuéllar appoints Karen Villeda as head of the Tlaxcala Culture Secretariat

This first Monday in September, from the Xicohténcatl Theaterthe governor Lorena Cuellar Cisneros presented the new members of his legal and expanded cabinet that will be renewed for the 2024-2027 period. Among the new profiles, the name of the Tlaxcalan poet stood out Karen Villeda.

“I would like to welcome Karen Álvarez Villeda”said the governor, “She will be the new Secretary of Culture”The presentation was accompanied by a summary of his resume, which highlights his work as head of the National Coordination of Literature of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico.

Cuéllar Cisneros also praised the CV of the former editor of the magazine Este País, which he said had “many pages”, but above all reflected her experience in the cultural field. After officially welcoming her, before the round of applause, he discreetly urged her to deliver good results in the state where “she was born”.
