Loroum: Education stakeholders discuss educational activities again
Titao, (AIB) – The High Commissioner of Loroum province, Djibril Bassolé, chaired, Tuesday September 17, 2024 in Ouahigouya, a meeting of educational stakeholders from Loroum province relocated to Ouahigouya, regarding the resumption of educational activities in the province of Loroum.
The presidents of the special delegations from the communities of Banh, Ouindigui, Sollé, and Titao, provincial directors, heads of departments in charge of education, education supervisors, teachers and leaders of active associations in charge of education, took part in the meeting on Tuesday September. 17, 2024 in Ouahigouya.
The participants discussed the initiatives to be developed for the effective resumption of educational activities in the province of Loroum, especially in the town of Titao.
At the end of the meeting, the education activists presented the head of the province with a sum of 127,500 CFA francs, to support and encourage the Volunteers for the Protection of the father (VDP), who were engaged in the theater of operations in Titao .
The security situation in Loroum province deteriorated significantly in December 2021, which led to the relocation of state services including education to Ouahigouya.
But with the various initiatives, educational volunteers have gone to work to ensure continuity of education at least in the city of Titao.
