jpnn.comJAKARTA – A number of political consultants who were vocal about the impeachment of President Jokowi are now collaborating with the Golkar Party in preparation for the 2024 regional elections.
This is known from the Golkar Party DPP recommendation letter to all provincial and district/city DPD leaders on March 18 2024.
The letter, signed by Deputy Chief Ahmad Doli Kurnia and Secretary General Lodewijk F. Paulus, includes the names of 14 survey institutions whose research results should be taken into consideration by regional administrators in determining regional head candidate pairs.
Among the recommended survey institutions are Saiful Muzani Research and Consultant (SMRC) and Polmark Indonesia.
In fact, the leaders of these institutions have been very vocal in their support for the impeachment of President Jokowi and opposed the candidacy of the Prabowo-Gibran pair supported by Golkar in the 2024 elections.
As previously reported, Polmark Indonesia Founder & CEO Eep Saefulloh Fatah hopes that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will be impeached immediately.
The reason is that he said President Jokowi had openly violated the constitution in the 2024 elections.
“As a citizen, my position has not changed from last year, in my opinion President Jokowi should be impeached. “This is the first conclusion that I think is important as part of the 2024 election,” said Eep in the Demos Festival discussion at the Akmani Hotel, Jakarta, Saturday (9/4).
