The upcoming bride and groom got engaged at home, exactly four years after they first met.
Singer and songwriter Hanne Sørvaag (44) is engaged to her boyfriend Thomas Sørbø.
On Instagram she writes:
– I will marry this handsome guy next summer! Hooray for love!, and she follows up with three hearts.
– I think it’s very nice, says Sørvaag when VG calls.
She shares that the proposal happened on July 4, exactly four years after the first time they met.
– We were actually just going to celebrate the day and go to a performance of Terje Vigen. So we got ready, and when I came out of the shower he was standing there with the ring.
Sørvaag continues by saying that it was a very cozy proposal at the home of the soon-to-be-wedded couple.
– I have found my great love, and it’s heartwarming to say yes when you get such a nice question. My career has taken priority in life so far, but now there is more room for love.
The wedding itself will be next summer.
– Have you made any plans for the wedding?
– We have just barely started planning, but we will be in Skudeneshavn where my family is from. It’s a lovely place with roots and family, and he likes it there very much as well.
