Most of his videos feature age-gap couples. This time, Syed Basit Ali tells the story of a 70-year-old Pakistani Baba who married a 19-year-old. The unique love story of a 19-year-old girl and a 70-year-old man is grabbing attention. “He is very young at heart,” said Shumaila Ali, who is ready to fall in love and marry regardless of age. Liaqat Ali (70) and Shumaila Ali (19) said they met during a morning ride.
Ali said he met Shumaila during his daily morning walk in Lahore. Ali fell in love with Shumaila at first sight. So Ali wanted to do something to impress Shumaila, so one morning he decided to follow Shumaila and sing a song while walking. Shumaila was captivated by Liaqat’s song during the morning ride. So they started talking and making love to each other.
As love blossomed, it was time to get married. The 49-year age difference was not a problem for the couple as they were happily married. When asked her view on it, Shumaila said, “Love has no age, it will happen.” But her parents had objections to the marriage, but those objections melted away in the face of her deep love for Ali. “My parents objected at first, but we managed to convince them,” added Shumaila.
