According to the police, on July 25, 2023, the auto driver was murdered by being stabbed with a knife near the Keva Canal of Chainpur police station area. Pushpa Devi, wife of deceased Shivram, had expressed suspicion of murder on Manju Devi. The police was investigating the case on the application of the deceased’s wife. According to the police, Manju Devi was having an affair with Shivram. When Manju’s husband came to know about this, he started protesting. Controversy started arising regarding this every day. Amidst the protests and controversy, Manju’s husband went to Mumbai. Meanwhile, Manju started growing closer to a person named Santosh. According to the police, Santosh appears to be Manju’s nephew. After this Manju Devi and Santosh planned to murder Shivram. Santosh gave betel nut to Vipin Singh for Rs 25 thousand. Vipin along with his friends killed Shivram.
