LoveShackFancy designer Rebecca Hessel Cohen is channeling a cross-country adventure for her Spring 2026 collection. This new collection draws inspiration from a childhood photo of Cohen in a white Victorian dress and the brand’s recent expansion into Aspen and Telluride, Colorado, and Nashville.
What is the inspiration behind LoveShackFancy’s Spring 2026 collection? The collection is a “road trip story through the country,” inspired by Cohen’s visits to the brand’s new outposts.
Cohen explained that she observed how young customers creatively mix LoveShackFancy pieces with vintage finds. “All these girls mix all the elements of LoveShackFancy in such a cool way – belts, fringe, vintage – they’re thrifting. This collection is a love letter to them,” she said.
Did you know? – LoveShackFancy’s expansion into the American west, with stores in Aspen, Telluride, and nashville, directly influenced the collection’s direction. Cohen observed how customers styled the brand’s pieces, leading to the “love letter” concept.
A Blend of Eras and Styles
The designs incorporate diverse influences, from dresses inspired by antique piano shawls to 18th-century-inspired tea-stained lace and prairie florals. This juxtaposition creates a collection that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
Overt nods to the American West appear in suede fringe detailing on jackets and pants, which are styled with ruffled and lace tops. The collection also offers more casual, everyday pieces, including knit sets, American flag intarsia sweaters, and eyelet denim.
“Sets are doing realy well,” Cohen noted. She also included some of her signature styles, such as diaphanous tops and bouclé sets with denim trim. newer a
